2018 can be the year that you become the fittest healthiest version of you. Your team at NJAC is here to make sure you have the tools you need to make it happen. Everyone has a different reason for getting fitter and healthier, but when you work out with a social support system you are more likely to stick to your exercise routine and achieve your goals. Maybe it means joining the gym with a friend or family member, working out with a personal trainer or taking a group exercise class. With programs for all ages there is truly something for everyone at NJAC.

Group Exercise classes are a great way to make friends, have fun and get the support and guidance of a trained professional. With a schedule full of a variety of workouts there is sure to be something that fits your exercise needs. Check out Zumba or Bollywood if you want a great cardio dance workout, BodyPump and CXWORX are great classes to build strength, Cycling, BodyCombat, BodyAttack, BodyStep, Strong By Zumba and AquaPower are excellent classes for fat loss and improve cardiovascular health. Don’t forget the importance of Yoga, Pilates, Barre and BodyFlow to balance out your workouts, destress and improve balance and flexibility. The winter scheduled, effective Jan 8th also offers a NEW class SoulBody Barre which has principals of Pilates, yoga and dance while sculpting and strengthening. Check it out and Try something new. With any new workout routine try our Smart Start option. At your first class take only the first 20 minutes and then slowly add 5-10 minutes each week until you have built up stamina for the entire class. Parisi Speed School: NJAC is excited to announce the addition of the Parisi Speed School to our facility starting February 2018. Parisi Speed School is the leader in Youth Sports Performance Training, with the focus of improving the athletic foundation for athletes ages 7 and up. Parisi Speed School at NJAC will not only look to improve your youth athletes speed, quickness and strength. Parisi programs are designed to give youth foundational fitness tools and athletic skills, while at the same time, building their confidence and self-esteem. Our offerings can greatly benefit all athletes regardless of ability level by increasing their activity level in a fun and upbeat environment. Pilates Reformer Training: Discover the Best Kept Secret at NJAC by adventuring into Pilates Reformer. Pilates is a mind and body workout that strengthens the core muscle, lengthens the spine and emphases the principles of control, centering, concentration, precision, breathing and focus. The Reformer is an apparatus which is connected by a pulley and spring system. The resistance offered by the springs can provide a more challenging strength and endurance workout than a mat Pilates class making visible results sooner. Carol Robinson, one of NJAC’s Pilates Reformer instructors, feels the power of Pilates is in the proof of her own fitness journey. It all began for Carol after the birth of her daughter who is now 16 years old. As a happy new mom, she realized, it was time to take control of her health and physical wellbeing. Slowly she began to make changes in her diet and saw the 48 excess pounds gradually melt away. Within 10 pounds of her goal she joined the gym and fell in love with Mat Pilates. Immediately she could see and feel the amazing impact that Pilates had on transforming her body. One year later, she began teaching Mat Pilates and then continued her training to teach Pilates Reformer as she found a passion for sharing her journey of health and wellness with others. Youth Programs/Aquatics: The 2018 Winter session for Youth Programs and Group Swim is coming to an end February 12th. But the fun won’t miss a beat; our spring session will be kicking-off Monday, February 19th 2018. Enroll your little one for a swimming lesson to get them ready for summer fun. Not sure what level to enroll your child in? Swim evaluation dates will be held Monday February 12th 7-8 pm, Tuesday February 13th 5-6 pm, and Thursday February 15th to 4-5 pm. Be sure to check out our action-packed Youth Programs offering Basketball, Dance, and Ninja Warrior classes.
Birthday Parties: Kid’s come celebrate NJAC’s 4th Birthday with us January 20th 9 am-11 am. Drop your child off in Kid’s club while you get a workout. Kid’s will have a blast with action-packed activities and then enjoy light refreshments in our party room. Come see what a blast birthday parties are here at NJAC and find out how to book your little-one’s big day at a facility that offers big-time fun! But the party doesn’t stop there! Schools Out Camps: Not sure what to do with your youngster while they’re home from school? Look no further! Don’t let your child waste the day; get them up and moving at NJAC’s School’s Out Camps and Spring Break Camps! Each day children will engage in a variety of fun-fit games and activities in our tumbling room, splash around in our indoor swimming pool, and release their inner artist during arts and crafts time. Camp runs daily from 9am to 3pm, with before and after care options available. Don’t miss out on these fun-filled days, stop by NJAC and enroll your child today!
